Grand Bornand Tour De France
The Tour De France takes place on 4th July 2009, in Monaco and finishes in Paris on 26th July 2009.The course will take three weeks to complete. Once the course has been complete each cyclist would have traveled 3,500 kms plus cycling through different four countries including: France, Spain, Switzerland and Italy.This is the 96th Tour de France, in addition, Le Grand Bornand was announced as a stage for the infamous cycling event. In 2007, Le Grand Bornand made an appearance at Stage 7. In 2009, Grand Bornand will be stage 16.
The great ski country will prove a challenge for any cyclist with the vast range of hills, mountains and peaks on this stage of the Tour De France.
