Having been the first ever guests to stay in the chalet when we visited over the 08-09 New Year holiday period and because we had such an amazing time I immediately offered to write the first review on our experience. My girlfriend and I have skied in many resorts over the years in Europe and USA and have stayed in both chalets and hotels so thus feel we can offer you guys an objective informed review of the chalet and the local town.

The chalet was sensational in every way. It is in an ideal location for those of you who like me love to be able to ski in and ski out. It is furnished to a very high standard, all the rooms are a very good size and it has all the possible amenities you could require to make it fell like home from home. However what we liked best about the chalet was because of the attention to detail with the furnishings and the overall craftsmanship it still had that cozy mountain log cabin feel with amazing views of the mountains from the living room and master bedroom which are to die for.

The shops are only a 10 minute walk and there are restaurants and bars from as close as 5 minutes walk away so you do not have to use those tired legs too much after a long days skiing. The local town itself is just as picturesque as the chalet so for those of you looking for a romantic break or an ideal trip with the family to get away from the stress of work will not be disappointed.

I would like to consider myself to be a good skier and can certainly say to those of you who have not heard of the resort that you will not be let down with the size of the area and the number of runs. We stayed for around a week, rarely had to queue for a lift and found plenty of runs to keep us busy all week.

Lastly the service Chris and Dawn offered was also second to none. From the moment we were collected from the airport we were made to feel most welcome and they both bent over backwards to ensure all of our needs were met. I certainly will be returning and would be happy to recommend the chalet and the ski resort to anyone, congratulations Chris and Dawn!!
